Things people ask

I'm a coach, not a therapist. Is it for me?

Yes. Choose coaching as what you do and your site, your topic pages, your client forms and your shop all speak coaching: goals, career, confidence, work-life balance. Your sessions start with a six-session programme you can change, and your shop comes with free coaching worksheets. If you also offer hypnotherapy or anything else, add it, and you get the pages and tools for that as well.

Can I send my clients invoices?

Yes. Make an invoice or receipt from a booking, a package or a blank page, in your practice's name and numbered for your records. It's emailed as a PDF, and clients can pay by card straight into your own Stripe account. Cash and bank transfers can be marked as paid.

Do I need to be good with computers?

No. You fill in a few questions about your practice, pick a design, and your site is ready. Everything is changed from simple forms, and phone photos are fine.

Can I use a domain I already own?

Yes. Keep paying for it where you bought it, point it at your site, and we switch it on. Or use your free address, such as yourname.practice.me.uk.

I'm still training. Can I use it?

Yes, at £4.99 a month. Your site says clearly that you offer practice sessions, and your session log doubles as your practice portfolio.

Do you take a cut of my bookings?

No. You pay the monthly price and keep everything your clients pay you for sessions.

How does the £100 of FREE advertising work?

Add your card when you join and £100 goes on your advertising balance straight away, free. It's never taken from your card. Use it in your first six months to make your directory advert bigger or to put it in the towns around you. Nothing is taken from your card in your first week, and then it's £9.99 a month until you stop.

Do I have to add a card?

No. You can look round for a week without one. You just don't get the £100 of FREE advertising, and you'll need to add a card to carry on after the week.

Is my clients' information safe?

It's held in the UK, the sensitive answers are encrypted, and you can download or delete any client's details in one click when they ask.

What happens if I leave?

You can cancel any time. If you use your own domain, it stays yours.
